On my system, the cdrom is the first IDE device on the second interface. An ls -l /dev/cdrom shows that it points to /dev/hdc. On SCSI cdroms or cdroms operated from a sound card interface it will be different. I am assuming that you have no trouble reading data from the cdrom. I have had some really wierd problems with workbone. When you get X go to Workman instead. -- George Bonser -- grep@cris.com In case of fire, log off promptly. --Tony Langdon
