LS, I started off just about a week ago to announce a new initiative to come to a worldwide reference for local Linux User Groups. The first entries have been recorded and have been put up the list. The list can be found at: http://www.xs4all.nl/~hvdkooij/LUGWW.html for this moment. It will move to the site of the NLLGG (The Dutch LUG) as soon as DNS delegation has been arranged. I would welcom new entries as well as people whom would like to join the effort by either mirroring the list (contains 2 HTML files already) or maintaining part of the list. SSC is currently thinking about it as I discused the plans with them and made some remarks about their list being out of date or incorrect at certain entries. The new list will make these things more clearly as it contains more items about each LUG. Checkout the list if you like and see wether you are interested in paticipation in some form. Maybe just by sending in your LUG entry and keeping it up-to-date. Thanks to all people that responded up to now. Cheers, Hugo van der Kooij.
