I'll cut to the chase. I want to get the best "svga" performace out of linux. I need it to run "Executor" which runs best in svga mode. Does anyone know if there are entries for /etc/vga/libvga.config to enable linear addressing or any other svga video speedups for a cirrus logic clgd5429 VLB card with 1meg of mem. Any ideas for XF86Conf speedup entries also appreciated. I am using fifo_aggressive and fast-dram already;) I am using the SVGA server now as the MetroX one that comes with Official RedHat 3.0.3 gives me slower video and no chance to print. How many body builders does it take to change a lightbulb? 5 why 5? One to change the bulb, two to hold the full lenght mirrors and two to chant "You're lookin' huge man, lookin' huge!" Later, Michelle Cyclops*-)
