Would anyone kindly explain the following question taken from the FAQ? > Q5: I've installed the drive as the only device on the secondary interface, > with the CDROM drive jumpered as SLAVE/SINGLE, and Linux won't > see it. What am I missing? What is a secondary interface? My CD drive is a Mitsumi one linked to a SB16. I have two hard drives linked to my Promise 2300plus IDE controller. In this case, is my CD drive on a secondary interface? I don't remember seeing jumpers at the back of my CD drive, are they really there? Most importantly, do I need to touch the settings of the CD drive in order to install Linux? --- Kent Tong Freeman Installer ==> http://www.netnet.net/users/freeman/
