I recently bought a video monitor with the VESA power saving features. I have got the power save feature to work when I'm in a text console by using "setterm -powersave" but I cant get it to work under X, even though I've set the BlankTime, SuspendTime and OffTime and powersave parameters in the XF86Config file. Does anybody know how to get it working? My setup: Slackware 3.0 with 2.0.0 kernel SVGA server with Cirrus Logic CL5430 chipset XFree3.1.2 Lachlan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lachlan Wetherall, PhD Candidate .-_|\ Department of Computer Science "Routing on Reconfigurable Meshes" / \ and Software Engineering ph. +61 49 21-6317 \.--._* University of Newcastle ph. +61 49 21-6929 v Callaghan NSW 2308 E-Mail: lwether@cs.newcastle.edu.au Australia WWW: http://www.cs.newcastle.edu.au/Research/lwether -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
