Hi all, Last night I downloaded X312d and X312E and tried to install them on my system with pkgtool. This went fine, but when I ran xf86config I still could only select my video card as trident 8900/900 generic. What is the deal? Do I need to download X312 as well and add that first then add d and e? Are there any symbolic links I need to change to get everything running properly? I had the trident vga16 xserver, but 16 colours really sucks, so I am hoping that the x312e release will _really_ allow me to use 256 colours in svga with my trident 9440. Any help greatly appreciated, and very very needed! -- Ben Thomas bst@yallara.cs.rmit.edu.au Resistance is futile....
