[Another Linux Community Service Announcement... ]

For those that care, the latest and greatest (???) NetScrape linux
binaries are available from ANU in Canberra. Don't ask me anything about
them, as I have not tried to use any of them yet. Judging by the filenames,
they are ELF (as opposed to a.out) binaries, and thus are most likely also
linked against X11R6. The directories of interest are:

ftp://boomer.anu.edu.au/pub/WWW/netscape/unsupported/unix/navigator
ftp://boomer.anu.edu.au/pub/WWW/netscape/unsupported/unix/gold
ftp://boomer.anu.edu.au/pub/WWW/netscape/navigator/gold/3.0/3.0b4/unix/standard

Note that the binaries found in the directory:
	/pub/WWW/netscape/navigator/gold/3.0/3.0b4/unix/minimum
are just symlinked to the ones in the ./unix/standard directory.

Downloading from the ACT should be heaps faster than from any of the
sites that are OS, and will save load on the OS link. Happy downloading.
For what it is worth, the linux SunSITE mirror on boomer seems a lot more
complete than what it was a month or so ago.

Paul.

You have to come and pick it up. I won't mail it to anybody. I'd rather
see somebody play with this junk rather than me just bin it. Please reply
via e-mail only if interested.
