I have just installed the latest version of RedHat (Picasso - April 96). It
seems that there is a problem with lisp routine of emacs that gets it into
BibTeX mode. Evertime I try to insert a new BibTeX field, it inserts the name
of the field as well as a left curly brace, and it stops there complaining
that it cannot find the end of the field. Suppose I want to insert a
`conference proceeding' field. It merely types:
InProcedding{
and it stops with a complain that it cannot find the end of the field. I have
try to uninstall both emacs and TeX, and install them again, but with no luck.
Am I missing anything here? Is there a fix?
While I am here, is there any utility to export EndNote 2.0 plus (for Windows)
databases to BibTeX?

cheers,

P.S: If it is important, I run it on a Pentium 100 with 32 MB of RAM, but
without a swap file. I have 'xosview' running at the same time and it doesn't
seem that I run out of memory.
