For slackware u need 2 disks..one called the boot disk and the
other one root disk (RAM disk)..
boot up with boot disk then when ask to insert ram disk inter the root disk..

Now if you installed linux from infomagic CDs
(6 Linux CDs yes 6 of them sell for about 25 bucks so get it save u lot
of time downloading)...more infor check it at http://www.infomagic.com

on infomagic CDs (cd 1) there is a program called lininst or something
like that..it's a windows 3.1/windows 95 progs that automaticly create
root and boot disk for u all u have to do is run it and follow its
instruction...after a few minutes wola u have 2 disk ready to instal
slackware :)

Hope that help ..
