Hi I just tried to install the mini-linux distibution, but when I tried
to boot it the kernal paniced and said something about more than 16 heads
dectected and stopped. I think that I remembered reading that early
versions of linux didn't like large >512MB hard drives is this it. My
system is a

P100
16MB RAM
1GB HD
S3 64bit 2MB video card
Plug and Play bios
CD-ROM and ESS soundcard

based on the above what distribution should I get? I'm thinking of
getting Slackware 3.0.0

Thanks
Steve
