Hi All, I have been trying for several days now to get my laser printer (AP5 - HP Laserjet 4 compatiable) running but I have had no success. I can print postscript files from another linux machine on my home net but I have not been able to either be successful with remote printing or printing postscript if I move the printer to my local machine? Anyone out there had success in either of these situations? my /etc/printcap has been setup by RedHats control panel - printer screen but the gs filter does not work and all I get are lots of wasted paper (FF's and associated rubbish). The thing I find most flaming is that before I loaded RedHat 2.1 and 3.03 everything worked well, both remote printing and local printing. I have copied the "saved printcap" to the new release but whilst I have checked and rechecked ACL's, locations, owners etc.. NO Joy. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Cheers Grahame
