I have Linux Slackware and it has recently started having problems rebooting. When running the `reboot' command, it comes up with a message saying `Sending TERM signal to processes...' and then hangs there. So I reset it and the next time it boots, fsck spends lots of time fixing things. The machine comes up in init level 4 (i.e. X with XDM). I've only recently started noticing the problem after I've started running netscape and the Apache httpd. The machine is not on a network. Does anybody have any suggestions? Oh, the version of Linux reported by uname -a is 1.2.13. Pleae CC me an e-mail. Thank you. jk
