Hi all, I've just installed linux on my work machine, and having trouble on connecting to the network. At the boot up time, one of the line says : SIOCADDRT : Network is unreachable It runs smoothly except this little hitch. I have no trouble otherwise. It seems that it's recognizing the network card also. I configured the network software using "netconfig" script. Well the machine does connect to the uni network under DOS/Windoze and works happily, so I think there is no problem on hardware part (well I hope). I've re-installed linux couple of times and recompiled kernel but still no good. My network card is a SMC EtherEZ PnP (with PnP disabled), and my kernel is 1.2.13. Any help/suggestions etc appreciated. Thanks in advance. Crying in desperation, Makoto
