about login prompt

hi, there,
When I telnet to linux from ZyPlex terminal server. The login prompt
appered in my screen, but when I press <enter>, then next line apeared
just below the line. Frankly to say, the opost option is not set correctly.
Is there anyone tell me how to resolve this problem.
