A while ago I purchased the Slackware Version 2.3 and tried to
install it. The installation went fine but could not get
X-windows to work. I got depressed and abandoned it.

I'd like to give it another shot, maybe the newer versions are
a little easier to install and set up. My question is WHICH
DISTRIBUTION VERSION SHOULD I GET??? I've heard of several:
Slackware 3.0, Linux-FT, the one from InfoMagic, etc., etc.

All I know is that I want the most recent version, and one
where I can get X-Windows to work.

Thanks in advance.
