Hi folks,
Just received the InfoMagic LINUX Developer's Resource 5-CD set.
Which kernel would you recommend? Slackware or Red Hat.
Target system is nothing fancy -- old 486 50MHz PC, EISA bus, Adaptec
SCSI card, 2-3 drives, CDROM (1x!), DAT, SCANNER -- all SCSI. Also
able to add a IoMega ZIP drive (parallel) if I can find drivers.
Going to start with SLACKWARE (but thinking of then trying RED HAT
as I'm thinking of ordering a Baby AT Alpha (Digital Alpha) board
and I believe Red Hat is a good supplier of the 64-bit UNIX.
Thanks --
Larry T.
