Greetings - our computer club is on the cusp of buying a iP5 system.

I have assembled a P5-133 recently and the vendor assured me that 70ns
SIMMs were ok with it, but all the literature I have read suggests that
60ns RAM is more or less mandatory for a 66MHz external clock speed for
Pentia such as the 100 / 133 / 166.

Our kernel-gurus have suggested that the new-ish GCC stuff does
parallel-compiles that really hammer the memory hard...

Can we get away with running Linux / GCC, etc on a p5-133 with 70ns, or
will we get nasty errors???

Thanx for any response
/dave
