G'Day, I have Linux up and running OK. The X-window system seems to be working fine (although due to a funny UMC chip set, I hav only installed the standard VGA mode). I have setup PPP and compiled Netscape and it works alright, exept... How do you tell the threads you have read in Netscape under Linux . ? %$%^%$#@!!* Also, how do you get the backspace and delete keys working ;) When I loas (load) Netscape it gives me a load of warnings that it cannot define colours #B09876 (just a guess) and about 20 more references including cannot define 'red' and 'green'... A couple of small pains in the arse I'd like to resolve. If anyone out there has Linux up and ri (running) on a Trident Computer Industries Pentium with an UMC chipset I'd sure like to hear from you. Regards, Mark Addinall.
