Okay, I mustered up the courage to attempt a Linux install and this
is the outcome.....

I'm running Windoze95 on a 1.08 Gb drive. I've partitioned it and
allowed 25% for on drive D for Linux.

I'm using a Slackware and have told the instal utility that I my HD
is IDE (its actually EIDE), UMSDOS and an IDE CD Rom drive.

It creates a boot and root disk. I re boot. The boot disk goes
through nicely with no parameters input at the "boot:" stage. It
does indicate one thing that I noticed:

		scsi: 0 hosts.
		scsi: detected total.
(why is it looking for scsi?)

I insert the ramdisk as requested and.....
it freezes after the following 2 lines:
		Call Trace:
		Code: cf 90 90 90 90 90 90 89 e1 51 f7 41 38 00 00 02 00 75 34 53

I am totally lost here.

If anyone can share any light on this I'll buy you a box of Tim
Tams.

Cheers, Ray C.
