Hi all, (yes more problems). Running Redhat 3.0.3 I installed Lilo and all was fine untill I recompiled my kernel using make zlilo. Now when I Get the lilo prompt and select linux, it loads the kernel fine, detectes all my hardware etc etc.. but cannot mount the root partition. It dies with Kernel panic unable to mount root at location 3:41. I can boot off a floppy fine. Had a look at the kernel howto and lilo howto, but couldn't find anything. Any ideas?? regards -- Ross Irvine E-mail : rwi@arcadia.cs.rmit.edu.au Computer Science Phone GSM : Oz : 0419 565 232 Inter : +61419 565 232 Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
