I want to install redhat 3.0.3. I've found on ftp.redhat.com a few updated .rpms to fix bugs etc. Can I just replace the old rpm with the new rpm?? XFree86-3.1.2-4.i386.rpm is shipped with 3.0.3 but XFree86-3.1.2-5.i386.rpm is in the updates directory. Can I just replace the reversion and change the sym link in sets/X_Windows/x.002 to point to the new version instead and install from there?? -- Ross Irvine E-mail : rwi@arcadia.cs.rmit.edu.au Computer Science Phone GSM : Oz : 0419 565 232 Inter : +61419 565 232 Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
