CDROM and Linux

Hi,

I have recently had a CDROM installed. I have the August 95 Infomagic 4 CD set
and have installed the slakware distribution. I have tried all the documented
things I can find to get Linux to recognise my CD but it will not. The auto
probing does not find the CD. I have tried the overrides. Has anybody had a
similar problem? If so, how did you get 'round it. The CD is Creative Labs.

Thanks.

Kevin.
