I have linux ( 1.2.13), I have set up 6 virtual consoles and I can switch between them using the alt-fx keys. If on one of the consoles, I start up the Xserver using 'startx' script, then I can't do the switching any more to other virtual consoles. Just by chance I tried ctrl-alt-fx and it did switch to another console, but when I switched back to the console on which I was running X, I could no longer see my windows, some error had occured and X had just hung and I had to kill it explicitly. Has anybody faced a similar problem and is there a solution to this ? thanks in advance rajanish...
