This is probably an FAQ, but I've gone through the Printing-HOWTO and couldn't solve it... I have an HP deskjet-400 printer, but am unable to print to it. If I just send ascii to the printer device I get gobbledygook (not just staircase effect or missing form-feeds). I tried using ghostscript, but that doesn't have drivers for the 400 and doesn't work when I try other HP deskjet drivers. Anyone else had this problem? Danny Yee.
