Hi All, How can I increase the limit of 64 tty's. Eg my linux machine can handle 64 incomming telnet's before it says "telnetd: all network ports in use" Also, what does this mean in /var/adm/messages : Apr 8 18:05:37 beast kernel: Apr 8 18:05:37 beast kernel: UNIX: create: can't allocate buffer Apr 8 18:05:37 beast last message repeated 63 times Apr 8 18:05:37 beast kernel: UNIX: cr<6>Apr 8 18:05:37 kernel: UNIX: create: can't allocate buffer I had this for pages and pages in messages. This happened during a time where I was pushing linux to the limit (eg when I had 64 incomming telnet's). I was suprised how well it stood up to it. Response time was quite good for all sessions (on a lowly 486dx2/66 16 Meg ram 100 Meg Swap.) Regards..
