Hi, I've just developed a problem with my main linux server that has pretty well crippled it. It has suddenly started giving the following error message whenever I try to do anything: lib/ld.so: cache /etc/ld.so.cache is corrupt I've tried deleting /etc/ld.so.cache restarting and have it be re-created, but the re-created version gives the same message. The file system seems ok when I run a check on it. Running Nortons from the DOS partition indicates that the ram is ok. I've tried disabling the ram cache with no change. Has anyone come accross this problem? My dialin users can't login. I keep getting disk full error messages as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
