Seyon as far as I understand it is just a modem package.
It won't do anything for you in your persuit of PPP :)

Heres what you need.

A copy of pppd (linux PPPDaemon)
and a couple of simple scripts.
(I'll include one here for you, it will need to be changed a bit but.)
and then just run the script, and wait for the link to come up. :)

====First file ( ppp.hostname )====

# make sure you change /dev/cua0 to reflect your com port:
# /dev/cua0 for com1, /dev/cua1 for com2, etc
#
# you must also edit hostname.chat to include your username and password
#
# if you do not have a 16550 uart serial port change 38400 to 19200
#
exec pppd connect redialer crtscts noipdefault defaultroute \
          mru 296 mtu 296 modem /dev/cua0 38400

==== end first file=== (this is the one that you run)

=== sencond file (hostname.chat) ====

ABORT BUSY
ABORT 'NO CARRIER'
ABORT 'NO DIALTONE'
'' ATDT999999
CONNECT ''
ogin: your_username
assword: your_password
ready ''

==== end second file====

This is sort of like a q&a file which replaces the manuall login part.
So you will need to change to suit your systems login approach :)

Good luck.

: Thanks,
