It's 07 Feb 96 02:44, We'll return to jmills@ccrf-news.gtri.gatech.edu and All's discussion of C cross compiler for Z80 jm> In case you're unfamiliar with it, DOSEMU is a DOS emulator which runs jm> under Linux. It's still 'alpha' code, and success stories range jm> wildly over the map from bliss to *&^%!! Emulating cp/m in a DOS jm> emulation on a POSIX host probably deserves the *&^%!! reaction. Having played around with DOSEMU (0.60), I'm fairly satisfied. Though there has been the occasional unexplained abort, it's basically worked fine, running this DOS based mail system, which includes GIGO, a protected mode program; DISPLAY, a protected mode graphics viewer, which ran very well, and even DESQView! :-) Only thing it refuses to run is (of course) Windows. :-) ... I think, therefore I am... I think. -- | Fidonet: Tony Langdon 3:632/367.2 | Internet: tlang@freeway.DIALix.oz.au
