Hi All,
I have an annoying problem.
Just recently my Linux box, which ahs been working fine. Has suddenly
decided to get an error:
Kerenel panic: EXT2-fs panic (device 3/68): ext2_write_inode: unable
to read i-node block - inode=10025, block=40968
I also notice that at startup it tells me that I should be Fsck ing
the /dev/hdb4 drive. So I run fsck2 and it reminds me its a mounted
drive, I tell it not to worry and continue with the check. It tells me
all the dud areas are fixed and to reboot. I do so and the cycle is
repeated. What is it I am missing?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Could any reply please be CC'd to grantham@mp2000.com.au, as I admit I
infrequently use the newsgroups. I barely have time to check my mail.
