Yes, you're quite right to say 'don't use this!'...but I think you
should explain why.
There's nothing wrong with debian itself (it's an excellent distribution -
better than either slackware or redhat).
The problem is that infomagic stuffed up and put the broken, alpha,
experimental, pre-release version of Debian 1.0 onto their CD instead of
the stable and reliable release version 0.93R6 of Debian.
Infomagic wanted to put the latest version on the disk, but didn't realise
(and didn't bother checking) that 1.0 was pre-release and not ready for
public distribution.

Even with this sort-of-understandable stuffup on Infomagic's part, their
Developer's Resource CD set is excellent value for money. I'd say it's
THE Linux CD to get.
I've also found Lychan to be very prompt and reliable when I've ordered
Infomagic CDs from him and I'd wouldn't hesitate to buy another set from
him...
Cheap, too. I think the November Infomagic set cost me just under $32
including postage and COD charges to Melbourne.
