It's 26 Jan 96 18:17,
We'll return to kuang@ee.Mu.OZ.AU and All's
discussion of NE2000 or its clone Where to buy?

ku> Does anyone know where to buy a NE2000 in Melbourne? How much is it?

ku> If it is too expensive for me, I would like to buy a clone(~$50).
ku> Anyone out there can share the experience to make the clone work with
 ku> me?
ku> Is it the cheapest option to buy NE2000 (or clone) in Melbourne?

I'm using a couple of clones ATM, one on this DOS machine, the other on
the Linux box, and they seem to be working fine here, currently running
NFS over the link to gain a bit of diskspace for the DOS box. :-). They
were $35, but as I'm borrowing them off a friend (to set up his Linux
box), I don't know where he bought them. :-( Somewhere in the south
eastern suburbs is all I can guess...

Networking for $70 sounds pretty cheap to me. :-)

... We are going to have peace even if we have to fight for it.
