Hi, I recently upgraded GCC 2.6.3 to 2.7.0, and now I cant compile any new kernels. It gets through "make config" ok, but when it gets to configuring the sound driver it stops with "-Qy unknown option". Have I set up GCC wrong or is there some fix for this? I'm using Slackware 2.3, and am using the 1.2.8 kernel, and have tried re-compiling 1.2.8, 1.2.13 and 1.3.17, and they all stop with the same error. If I skip the sound driver, it gets through "make config" but bombs out on "make dep" with the same "-Qy unknown option" error. I have also installed libc version 5.0.9 and libg++ 2.6.2.5, all from a slackware distribution disk. As of yet I havent tried compiling anything else. I have also tried installing GCC 2.7.2 and the same problem occurred. Any help would be appreciated. ------- He reached out and pressed an invitingly large button on a nearby panel. The panel lit up with the words "Please do not press this button again." -------- locutus@m150.aone.net.au --------
