Andrew O'Rorke was overheard saying to WinVN 0.99.7: >I installed Win95 on /dev/hda1 and Linux on /dev/hdb1 and use Lilo to choose >which to boot, and it works fine. I installed Lilo into the MBR of /dev/hda1 >and have had no problems at all. One thing to watch out for though - if you install Windows95 after Linux, you'll have to boot Linux from a floppy and re-run lilo (Windows95 overwrites the MBR when it is installed). However - I suspect Martyn meant dual boot in the OS/2 sense (both operating systems sharing a single partition). That seems to work OK if you use the umsdos filesystem for Linux - I tried it briefly before I added an extra drive - it is a bit slower than ext2fs, though. Matt
