|	Can anyone tell me if it is possible to install Linux on an XT ? If not
|what other Unixs can I use ? Someone suggested that I should try minix, but
|I have problems finding it.

Linux will never run on an XT or an AT for that matter, it requires at
least a 386, because of the memory management, 32 bit address space and
32 bit code. 486 mbs are quite cheap these days so why not upgrade.
Although the SIMMs will cost you more than the mb.

(Yes I know about Linux/16 and Linux/ELKS, I follow that project, but
you'll never get the kind of performance you get from a [345]86.)
