Well, that's not *exactly* what I meant.  I suspect that what happens is
that suck is just grabbing down articles and then passing them on to rnews
(or equivalent), which then decodes the headers on them to figure out what
to do with them from there.  When INN gets passed the articles with Xref
headers in them, it refuses to process them because you can't give it an
Xref header.

You can set it in the overview.fmt (or whatever it's called) file.  I think
it's probably mentioned in the overchan manpage.

Suck shouldn't be leaving in the Xref headers when it sends articles to
