This means it can't find the subdirectory in proc... /proc is a *very*
dynamic filesystem, being the process related one. It changes a lot.
May I suggest you run updatedb with this instead:
updatedb --prunepaths='/tmp /proc /cdrom'
This will exclude /tmp, /proc and /cdrom from the locatedb... /tmp
because, well, it's temporary, /proc because it's *highly* volatile,
and you don't really want to search for files in there anyway, since
it's not a real filesystem and /cdrom because cdroms change regularly.
Unless of course you have the same cd mounted all the time, in which
case feel free to let it run on /cdrom
Later,
Thorf
