Dear all, I checked the docs and could not find any info on statd. The problem that I am having is that I am NFS mounting a disk from my Linux box (Linux 1.2.13) on my sun Box (SunOS 4.1.4) and on the Suns console I keep getting the following messages: clnttcp_create: RPC: Program not registered rpc.statd: cannot talk to statd at brew Upon further investigation I found that statd does not exist on the linux box and can not seem to find any info on how to fix or where to get statd for my linux machine. any clues would be greatly appreciated. ...peter -------------------------------------------------------------- Peter Musca System/Network Administrator Email: peter@perth.wgc.com.au World Geoscience Corp Phone: +61-9-273-6400 Western Australia fax: +61-9-273-6466 --------------------------------------------------------------
