Why people choic Linux or not the win95 ?? =>Well I certainly would install linux and like it , let me ask those people who =>only run linux but no windows, what word processing program do they run? Of =>course I know there are type setting programs like LaTeX, actually I used it a =>lot for preparing research papers, however, if what you want is just a letter, =>it is much easier to use a word processor. Are there any Word for Unix? Or =>should not it be included in the future linux software? =For your information there is a Wordperfect port to Linux, and it works =fine. And what does judging an operating system have to do with =comparing Word processors anyways? Availibility of programs has a big impact on what os you chose, DOS is an even bigger kludge because the designers wanted the backwards compatibility to cmp so that everyone wouldn't worry about software. look at winbloze95 backwards compatibility is there to make sure that everyone gets to use their favorite old progies.
