Hi,
I am pretty new to Linux and am looking for a good reference for
linux. topics such as X, motif, mail, news, PPP, ....

I found :
"Using Linux Special Edition"
Que
Jack Tackett, David Gunter, Lance Brown

"Linux Unleashed"
SAMS
Kamran Husain, Tim Packer

"Running Linux"
O'Reilly Assoiciates
Matt Welsh

I have:
"Linux Installation & Getting started guide"
    Matt Welsh
It came with my Infomagic Aug'95 release kernel 1.2.8 (i think)

Any suggestions on the above ot others would be welcome.

Part 2: Motif
I need to complete a motif project I started at school on Suns
using Motif 1.2.  I need a 100% OSF/Motif for linux. Best scenario
would be compiler compatible with the motif I used at school.

I think my linux release came with X11R6.

I know of:
a) MOOTIF Infomagic
b) SWiM 1.2.4 OSF/Motif for Linux
c) metrolink motif for linux

Which would you recommend ??? Compatibility is more
important than cost for me.

Any suggestions on the above ot others would be welcome.
