I just purchased "MWM" from X-Inside ($149, they threw in their Accelerated-X
server for $50 too, got it next day) and after a little tinkering got it to 
work fine on a Slackware 3.0 system running 1.3.35 kernels (an awesome setup 
by the way: my WD 850MB On-Track drive is fully supported now, and loadable 
PPP modules work great).

X-Inside says that their Motif port doesn't pass the compatibility tests
using ELF libs yet, but their a.out libs pass fully. The only thing you need
to get them to work is to install the old a.out X-libs off the Slackware
distribution (these go into /usr/i486-linuxaout/lib). Make sure you have
rebooted once you do this so the loader can cache the directory. The Motif
stuff automatically finds the older libs.

HINT: If you're used to mwm, don't opt to use the enhanced X-Inside xinit
scripts and resource files - use the standard OSF ones. They appear to work
better.

BTW - their X-server is MUCH easier to configure than XFree86, and if you're
getting MWM, it's only $50 more. Seems a bit faster too.
