I have a problem installing (or attempting to install Linux from a CDROM. It defaults to look for my CDROM at address 0x300 and IRQ 10. The problem is that my CDROM is located at 0x340 and IRQ 11. I am new to this so I will take any suggestions. Is there a LILO comand line I can put in (mcd=0x340,11??). I am not going to understand how to recompile the kernal, so I need a quick solution to just get the system installed. I have considered copying the entire CDROM to a partition on my hard drive and install from there, but I do not know what are the neccessary directories?
