Hey There,

       I'm after some kind of documentation on vi. I have Linux 1.2.1 
and the man pages on vi seem to be somewhat lacklustre.

       If any of you guys out there would be kind enough to let me know 
where I can get ahold of some information or docs on vi, that would be great.

       I like emacs, but I have been out on-site so many times using 
strange unixes, and vi was the only thing I could use.
