Hi

I am trying to set up dial-in to my linux box. I tried mgetty first as
it has some nice features, but i kept getting messages about "mgetty
respawning to fast, disabled for 5 minutes".

Despite poring over the (rather sparse) docs, I couldn't find any way
of fixing this...so I then tried getty_ps.

With getty_ps (uugetty) I can now dial in, connect and receive the login prompt -
but then nothing - nothing I type on the dialling in computer appears to
get transmitted or received at the other end. Eventually (I have the
time out set to 60 secs) my linux box hangs up.

Does anyone have any ideas about either the mgetty or the
getty_ps/uugetty problems I am having?
