This is very strange... not the bug, but the fact that it took five days
for your post to appear at my site. (????)

In the mean time, Jim and I have solved the problem, so I thought I'd
point out the fix in case other Linux people wished to use lookup.
The problem was that an identifier in a Linix header was conflicting
with one I happend to use.

The fix is to move the "#include <stdio.h>" line of "commands.c" to the
head of the list of includes. That's all that's needed.
