Hi all,

I've got problems trying login from a hard wired terminal.

The getty runs properly and presents the login message.
I can enter an account name. The getty then execs 'login xxxx'.

Problems occur.

After the getty exec's login, keyboard input is disabled, more
accurately whenever a key is pressed the bell on the terminal
operates. (The first time a key is pressed no bell is heard thou.)
Effectively all key's are ignored as far as the process is concerned.
(Running a 'w' shows ever increasing idle time, even if keys are
 pressed)

If I try to login using an account name that requires a password
then the above activity occurs after the line "Password:".
If I try to login using an account that does not require a password
then the above acivity occurs at the shell prompt.

I'm running:
	Kernel 0.99pl10
	getty 2.0.7b (After trying the std getty that comes with SLS)

I think it has something to do with line discipline. I've read the
FAQ and the closest I can find mentions using 'CLOCAL'. Tried and failed.

Any assistance would be great,
