Is there anywhere I can log crashes to, to try and determine the issue?

Running Mandriva 2010 and Pan Usenet client 0.133, Pan constantly (but 
not always) crashes when posting a follow up to a newsgroup article, and 
I would like to get to the bottom of it.

BTW does anybody know if any further development being undertaken on 
Pan?  Seems to be abandonware.  Last update was in 2008.
