I added the ppa into synaptic, and then did the apt-get update/install thunderird I then got TB 3.0.4 (final). >> but for one >> problem - turns out that it still doesn't have my broken associations =/ > >> Anyone have a clue where to start with that? Associations = the different functions for using non-email content; such as HTML RSS feeds, .jpg images for downloads, etc. TB normally allows you to use it by going into Preferences -> Attachments, and then selecting the programs to use for each file type. Unfortunately, not only is the file type list blank, there's no options to add to it, and TB isn't doing as it's supposed to with unrecognised file types. Any clues where the attachment association might be? As in as a list or file that I can edit manually?
