My D-Link DWL-G520 is working under Mythbuntu 8.04. It uses an Atheros chip set that requires their proprietary drivers. The drivers are not included with the distribution but they are an easy addition. Dick Smith stocks them so if you are willing to pay their inflated price you can try it for up to fourteen days and give it back if your test fails. It would be really wicked to give it back and buy it elsewhere if your test succeeds! I found my Wireless G network with the addition of a high gain antenna at the router was too slow for watching TV or transferring a few gigabytes of data but was fine for ordinary Internet access. The distances involved are about 15 metres and two or three walls. If you don't already have a wireless network I would head straight for Wireless N or powerline adaptors <http://www.dlink.com.au/Products.aspx?Sec=1&Sub1=26&Sub2=80&PID=314>.
