Running Firefox 3.0.11 in Mandriva. I've just installed a new printer (Canon Pixma ip100) to the desktop. It prints everything except web pages. When clicking on "print" the print box is empty and about:config shows my old printer still listed. How can I config Firefox to recognise my new printer please. brianM

If it is not there then configure KDE/Gnome/whatever first. Then try File -> Print Preview. Does it look like what you expect? -- Peter D. Sig goes here...

Mandriva 2008 ( I'm loathe to upgrade as this version is working
really well )
Tried Page Setup, no option there to choose a printer.
Print Preview is what I would expect prior to printing.
I'm using KDE as the UI. Kprint is setup correctly and has recognised my
new printer - same as CUPS. I disabled the old printer in drakconf but
have since deleted it - will see what happens there.
If Firefox had the correct printer in its config, I'm sure it would work.
Will browse your suggestion about the Mandrake usenet group.
thanks Peter

Have you tried right click, modify and change them? No idea if it works.

What I did notice was that the line "print.printer_print" which I reset earlier, has gone. cheers brianM

In the meantime I can print from Opera or Konq, or print to file in FF. thanks everyone :=) brianM
