Now that I have Ubuntu on a machine all to itself, I want to remove it from my dual-boot (XP/Ubuntu) machine, without damaging the XP part.I want to remove GRUB at the same time. Can someone tell me how to do it?

Can someone tell me how to do it? You're better off asking on a Windows NG, because it's not a Linux issue. Basically you're going to have to reformat the partition(s) that linux was using as NTFS so they can be used by XP. Alternatively, you can use something like gparted or partition magic to merge all the partitions together and end up with one big partition for XP. You're also going to have to get XP to rewrite the boot sector with its own boot loader. I'm not sure how you do that, but google will probably know. -- http://NovemberEchoRomeoDelta.com
